Job Description

Personnel Resources has an opening for an  LPN with a busy medical practice in Dothan. We are seeking candidates with a valid certification, and experience working as a LPN/Medical Assistant. In this role you will be responsible for taking patent's vitals, escorting patients to and from the lobby and assisting doctors with procedures.The hours for these positions are Monday -Thursday with a day shift schedule. Pay is based off experience!Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs or physicians, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, collecting samples, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, record vital signs, observe and report any changes in patients' conditions, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients, ensuring the provision of appropriate nursing interventions, and monitoring the progress and outcomes of treatments.
  • Administer prescribed medications orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or intradermally, following established protocols and accurately documenting medication administration.
  • Perform basic wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring wounds, and educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention of infection.
  • Provide health education to patients and their families on topics such as medication management, disease prevention, and self-care techniques, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to manage their conditions effectively.
