Intake Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming referrals and assess patient eligibility for services
- Coordinate admissions and communicate relevant information to care teams
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain initial authorizations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and referral partners
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policies
- Conduct follow-up calls and patient satisfaction surveys
- Support compliance with organizational standards and regulations
Intake Coordinator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of healthcare intake procedures and payer sources is a plus
- Flexible schedule availability
