Job Description
A local manufacturing company is seeking a manufacturing design drafter/ detailer to join their growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing job specific CAD drawings
- Become knowledgeable of product line and install methods
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Review, revise and develop plans, elevations, and options as needed per client and engineer
- Develop design solutions with little to no supervision
- Present design ideas to project managers
- Collaborate with team to develop details of design
- Perform any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, experience with Inventor a plus but not required
- Knowledge of an experience with engineering principles
- Ability to effectively communicate with team
- Must be a self-driven and result oriented individual
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- 2+ years of experience in a professional drafter/detailer setting required
- Ability to take plans and make modifications to meet client and manufacturing needs is essential.
The hours for this position are Monday- Friday:7:30-4:30. Full benefits package offered to include 100% paid employee health insurance, generous PTO and holiday time with a 401K match after 1 year of employment.
