Personnel Resources has a client seeking a experienced Environmental Project Manager to join their team. In this role you will be working with multiple clients in the commercial/industrial sector, writing proposals, and compiling data for reports. This is a Direct Hire position in the Birmingham, AL area. They are willing to consider helping with relocation. 

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the environmental science/engineering or geology fields
• Will need to have a practical knowledge of Environmental Site Assessments, ADEM ATTF, asbestos, hazardous waste compliance, Storm water management/permitting, preparation of BMP/SWPP/SPCC Plans and related multi-media environmental compliance inspections
• Will be responsible for writing reports and proposals for Phase I and II ESAs, Hazardous Waste compliance audit reports, and Groundwater reports
• Also will be scheduling personnel, managing budgets, compiling data, and reviewing reports
• Field work and sampling will be required 
• Excellent communication with clients to ensure timely completion of all projects
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated 
• Proficient in MS Office Suite as well as other related computer skills
• GIS/GPS, Air permitting experience is a plus 

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related field is required 
• 40-hr HAZWOPER training
• Asbestos certifications/licenses is preferred 
• Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training is preferred 

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 
• Schedule is flexible
