Job Description
We are immediately hiring for the Director of Junior High Ministry who will lead 7th and 8th-grade students in discipleship and spiritual growth, focusing on Sunday school, Wednesday night small groups, and Sunday night worship. This role also includes overseeing Girls' Ministry (grades 7-12), organizing events, developing Bible studies, and leading small group lessons. Collaborating with the Director of Student Ministry, the Junior High Director will help plan events, trips, and programming for the entire Youth Ministry (grades 7-12).

- Grow the Junior High Ministry.
- Foster a culture of leadership within the Student Ministry.
- Disciple and develop Junior High and Girls’ Ministries.
- Inspire students to serve through outreach.
- Recruit and equip adult leaders for student ministry.
- Ensure smooth transitions from Children’s Ministry to Student Ministry.
Principal Duties:
- Lead small groups for Junior High students.
- Recruit and mentor volunteers.
- Plan and lead Junior High retreats and events.
- Develop and implement a Junior High Ministry plan.
- Create Bible studies and lead lessons for Girls’ Ministry.
- Host events for Girls’ Ministry.
- Assist with Student Ministry retreats, trips, and events.
- Support the Student Ministry’s social media efforts.
- Coordinate outreach and service opportunities.
- Attend student extracurricular activities.
- Build connections with local schools and FCA organizations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Student Ministries on events and trips.
