2nd Shift Production Lead
Job Description
We are immediately hiring for a Production Lead to work at a leading manufacturer in Dothan, AL. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour and will be working 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2p - 12a.
Essential Functions:
- Manage daily production to meet demands, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth shifts.
- Analyzes work orders to determine machine time and employees necessary to complete within required time frame.
- Computes amounts of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials from storage area.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, utilizing performance metrics for improvement.
- Ensures that time and production records are accurately maintained.
- Works with others to identify and develop continuous cost improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of related experience and/or training.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
