About the Role
We are seeking a talented, hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead third-shift manufacturing operations at our Troy, Alabama facility. This role is responsible for overseeing production, ensuring quality standards are met, promoting a safe work environment, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shift operations, including production schedules, staffing, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Train, mentor, and support production employees.
- Monitor production processes and resolve issues that impact efficiency or quality.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to improve operational performance.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing.
- Blow molding and/or injection molding experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work third shift, including weekends as needed.
- Experience with IQMS, Microsoft Office, and other manufacturing software is preferred.
