Job Description
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a medical office in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will manage cash and accounts receivable, process bank transactions, and assist with various accounting duties to support the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily cash reports for management
- Update spreadsheets and communicate with other departments
- Enter and post journal entries for all bank transactions
- Process and deposit a high volume of checks via remote deposit
- Perform patient credit card and office deposit reconciliations
- Handle banking inquiries, including remote and branch deposits
- Make bank runs as needed
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records
- Input AR invoices and apply payments promptly
- Process tenant rent payments and communicate with team members regarding AR updates
- Assist with bank account and general ledger reconciliations
- Reconcile monthly statements, including Care Credit and credit card statements
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous accounting or clerical experience preferred
