Job Description

Are you detail-oriented and ready to join a dynamic team? We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support a corporate office in Dothan, AL. This role is essential for the smooth processing and maintenance of their accounts payable transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with phone inquiries and vendor communications
Review, verify, and process invoices and check requests
Sort, code, and match invoices for payment
Enter and upload invoices into our accounting system
Prepare and execute check runs
Monitor accounts for timely payments and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate vendor files and provide audit support

Qualifications:

1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Proficient in JD Edwards, Kofax, Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
