Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the team of a logistics company in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivables or collections and excellent data entry skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in accounting while contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Pay will range between $19.00 - $23.00 per hour and will work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. They offer excellent benefits including health insurance, profit sharing, PTO, and a 401k plan! If you are organized, have a knack for numbers, and enjoy working with financial data, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in processing financial transactions
Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
Handle accounts receivable tasks including invoicing, billing, and collections
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly
Requirements:
Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Familiarity with conducting account reconciliations and performing collections
Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients
Prior experience with trucking or logistics is preferred
Experience with McLeod software is preferred
