Job Description
Personnel Resources has a client that is immediately hiring for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Dothan, AL.
Pay will range between $15.00 - $18.00 per hour and will work a Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm schedule.
Responsibilities:
Generate and send out invoices to customers
Review and verify invoices for accuracy
Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any billing issues
Process credit card payments and apply them to customer accounts
Conduct account analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies
Assist with revenue cycle management by monitoring aging reports and contacting customers for payment
Perform data entry tasks to update customer information in the accounting system
Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries or disputes
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
Experience:
2+ year previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Knowledge of account coding and reconciliation processes
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Proficient with MS Office suite
