Job Description
Busy medical practice in Dothan is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position will work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and offers $16/hour and a strong retirement and BCBS insurance package.
Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant is required and preference is given to administrative experience within a medical practice.
Job Duties:
- Onboard new employees
- Accounts Payable
- Enter payment information to accounting software for the CPA
- Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, timekeeping and other employment information for office staff and the PEO
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role providing assistance to an HR team, accounting team or medical administrator
- Knowledge of basic accounting functions
- Experience in timekeeping, onboarding new hires and basic knowledge of benefits
