Job Description
We are hiring for an immediate direct hire opening as a Laboratory Technician in Dothan, AL. It will be for a local laboratory that specializes in the analysis of water and wastewater.
This is a full-time entry level position with regular hours Monday - Friday with rotating weekend duties once initial training is complete. This is a great opportunity for an individual wanting on the job-training or for an experienced lab tech to continue to grow in a successful career.

Description:
- Interact with clients on a daily basis when receiving samples.
- Drive in the immediate vicinity of the lab for sample collection and pickup
- Perform various physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of water, sludge, and soil in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Document analytical findings to accurately report results
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or associated sciences is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Familiarity in laboratory setting including safety and sanitation
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proficient computer skills including data entry
