Overview
Direct hire opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join a team of professionals in Enterprise, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This is a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm role.Duties
Direct hire opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join a team of professionals in Enterprise, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This is a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm role.Duties
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and maintain up-to-date records.
- Process accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Manage the payable process to include processing payments, vendor communications, and compliance
- Record journal entries accurately and timely in accounting software.
- Deliver monthly profit and loss statements as well as balance sheets
- Support public accounting activities as needed
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Research transactions to identify and solve discrepancies
- 5-7 years of proven bookkeeping experience is required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Must be proficient in general ledger posting and have strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
