Job Description
We are hiring for CMAs for a local medical office in the Enterprise, AL area. We are seeking candidates with a valid certification, and experience working in a medical office. In these roles you will be responsible for taking patent's vitals, escorting patients to and from the lobby and assisting doctors with procedures. If you do not have a certification you can still be considered if you have at least 2+ years of experience.
They are working a Monday - Friday daytime schedule with pay starting at $16.00 per hour. Full benefits package offered!

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare patients for medical tests, take vital signs, and record patient information.
- Administer medications or injections as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Perform basic wound care, dressing changes, and suture removal.
- Provide patient education and instructions related to medications, procedures, and general healthcare.
- Perform routine clinical procedures, including collecting and preparing lab specimens.
- Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) and assist with other diagnostic tests.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments.
- Administer vaccines and immunizations as per established protocols.
- Maintain and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Obtain and verify patient insurance information and process medical billing.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability.
- Assist with medical coding and documentation, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
