Personnel Resources is hiring for Certified Medical Assistants. We are seeking candidates with a valid certification, and experience working as a Medical Assistant. In these roles you will be responsible for taking patent's vitals, escorting patients to and from the lobby and assisting doctors with procedures.

The hours for these positions are Monday - Fridays with a day shift schedule. Pay is based off experience!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare patients for medical tests, take vital signs, and record patient information.
• Administer medications or injections as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Perform basic wound care, dressing changes, and suture removal.
• Provide patient education and instructions related to medications, procedures, and general healthcare.
• Perform routine clinical procedures, including collecting and preparing lab specimens.
• Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) and assist with other diagnostic tests.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations as per established protocols.
• Maintain and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits.
• Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information and process medical billing.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability.
• Assist with medical coding and documentation, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
