Claims Adjuster Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and assess property damage and review estimates.
- Analyze police reports and physical damage to assess liability.
- Prepare findings and recommendations based on investigation results.
- Refer questionable claims for further investigation or settlement.
- Gather evidence for contested claims in court.
- Communicate effectively with claimants and agents to determine liability and restitution.
Claims Adjuster Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, SharePoint)
- Ability to operate office equipment (fax machines, printers, scanners)
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to listen and assess situations.
