Bookkeeper
Job Description
Personnel Resources is are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a growing company. The ideal candidate will have experience working with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, and will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, ACH transactions, and positive pay processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks
- Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor ACH payments
- Implement and manage positive pay procedures to prevent check fraud
- Generate financial reports and spreadsheets using Excel
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of positive pay, ACH, and general accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible hours, 15-20 hours per week
- $18-20/hr
