Accounting Assistant
Pay Rate: $21
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
A growing company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join their team in Dothan, AL. This role provides analytical accounting support while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable exceptions
- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal teams and business partners
- Assist with cash and account reconciliations
- Use critical thinking to resolve issues efficiently
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain strong communication while working independently
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with accounts payable or invoice processing
- Customer service experience supporting internal and external customers
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, chat, and video platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365, including Excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and processes
