Job Description
Personnel Resources is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a fast-paced medical practice in Enterprise. Qualified candidates must have an active LPN License in AL and have prior experience working in a physician's office or clinic as a nurse. This position offers a day shift schedule, Monday through Thursday and work some Friday's providing a great work-life balance. Compensation is $20/ hour.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
- Take and record vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report any changes
- Escort patients to and from the lobby and assist physicians during procedures
- Perform initial patient assessments and maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records
- Administer medications as prescribed (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal) in accordance with established guidelines
- Provide basic wound care, including cleaning, dressing, monitoring, and patient education on infection prevention
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on medication management, disease prevention, and self-care practices
