Phlebotomist
Job Description
Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for an immediate opening in Enterprise, AL!
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay Range: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting, labeling, and handling patient specimens with accuracy and professionalism while ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to obtain blood specimens
Accurately label and process specimens for laboratory testing
Confirm patient identity and maintain detailed, accurate documentation
Adhere to established safety procedures and specimen handling protocols
Provide compassionate patient care and address questions or concerns
Work closely with healthcare team members to ensure proper collection and processing
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
Current Phlebotomy certification (such as CPT or PBT) preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and laboratory procedures
Prior phlebotomy experience required
