Academic Advisor
Job Description
Are you passionate about helping students succeed and navigate their academic journey? We are looking for a dynamic Academic Advisor to join a team on a temporary basis and make an impact in Eufaula, AL! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with students and their families, and has a knack for organizing and processing important paperwork.
Pay & Schedule:
- $24.08 per hour
- Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday 7:30am - 2pm
- 1-3 Months
Academic Advisor Key Responsibilities:
- Advise students and parents on academic pathways
- Manage paperwork and data entry
- Host workshops on time management and college readiness
- Assist high school seniors with financial aid applications
Academic Advisor Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and workshop facilitation
- Experience with the financial aid process is a plus
