Medical Assistant (Part Time or Full Time)
Job Description
Immediate opening for a CMA in Marianna! This unique opportunity offers a flexible work schedule to accommodate a full time employee or part-time at 24 hours per week. Pay range for this opening is $15-20/hour. Experience is required.
Job duties include:
- Assisting the physicians and CRNP's in exams, procedures and treatments
- Preparing patients for medical testing and treatment to include taking vital signs, recording patient information and preparing exam rooms
- Perform wound care
- Collecting lab specimens when required
- Administer injections when necessary
- Maintain patient flow and assist with updating demographic information and check in/out as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical assistant, certification is preferred but not required
- Must have knowledge of performing injections, venipuncture and the ability to check blood pressure manually
- Experience using electronic health record systems
