We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Loan Assistant to support the loan officers in processing loan applications and ensuring seamless document management for an established bank in Dothan. Compensation and Benefits: The pay for this position ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Commercial Loan Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist commercial loan officers with loan applications, documentation, and processing.
- Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare closing documents, including financial data, letters, and agreements.
- Process loans in coordination with the loan operations department.
- Communicate with customers and underwriters to ensure documentation requirements are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, mail, and in-person communication.
- Coordinate loan closings with all parties involved.
- Maintain accurate loan files and records in the document retention system.
- Support internal and external reviews/audits of the commercial loan portfolio.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services.
- Experience supporting loan operations within a banking institution is required
- Understanding of banking and lending terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work under general supervision, following established policies and procedures.
