Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join the team at a local restaurant in Abbeville, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring the quality and presentation of meals meet the highest standards.
Pay range will be $12.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience and will work Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm and Friday-Saturday 10am-9pm shift.
Duties
- Plan and prepare meals according to the menu
- Handle food in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Execute meal preparation efficiently and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure proper food storage and labeling
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or dietary department
- ServSafe certification required. If you are do not hold the certification, you must have a willingness to receive within the first 90 days of employment.
