Job Description
Personnel Resources is looking to hire a Customs Document Procurement Clerk for a local transportation company in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in Excel and Outlook, and have great phone communication skills. Pay will start at $12.00 per hour and will be working a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule. Job Duties:
- Communicate with military members about documents needed for their code 8 unaccompanied baggage shipment
- Examine documents to make sure they are completed fully and accurately
- Communicate with the JPPSO’s as necessary to obtain member documents
- Coordinate with customs broker by emailing airway bills and customs documents for approval to send the shipment to destination
- Proficient in computer skills
- Must have strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Prior experience with the MS Office Suite
