Customer Service Specialist

Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join office operations with a local manufacturing team. This position offers a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work schedule; however, some Saturdays will be required. This position will be responsible for identifying customer needs, assisting with the order process and being the main point of contact for clients pre and post sale.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed product knowledge, options for delivery, and scheduling options for customers
- Provide quotes and enter sales orders into ERP system, coordinating closely with the engineering department for drawings and data relating to new products or modifications to existing products
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Assist the department with resolving customer complaints
- Verify customer and order information to insure accuracy
- Coordinate with various manufacturing departments to ensure scheduling is on track or updated as needed
- Resolve any billing issues with customers
- Calculate cost of goods and services to provide accurate quotes
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience in a Customer Service or Technical/Engineering role is required
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
