Job Description

Duties
- Manage daily operations of the daycare center, including staff scheduling, curriculum implementation, and maintaining a safe environment for children
- Supervise and support teaching staff, ensuring high-quality classroom experience and adherence to educational standards
- Develop and oversee age-appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and accreditation standards
- Foster positive relationships with families through regular communication, updates on child progress, and addressing concerns promptly
- Coordinate staff training on topics such as childhood development, behavior management, first aid, and cpr
- Oversee enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and manage budgets related to supplies and resources
Skills
- Bachelor's degree as well as 3+ years childcare experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices in childcare settings
- Proven classroom management skills with experience in preschool, toddler care, infant care, or special education environments
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team of educators and caregivers
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with families, staff members, and community partners
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive development
- Certification in first aid and CPR
- Experience in classroom experience or nannying/babysitting roles that demonstrate caregiving expertise across various age groups
