Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, goal-driven Debt Collector to join a team in Dothan, AL. In this role, you will work with debtors to resolve outstanding accounts, negotiate payment plans, and meet monthly performance goals. The ideal candidate is persistent, organized, efficient, and excels at problem-solving in challenging situations.

Position Details:

Full-time: 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday
Starting pay: $15/hr and up (based on experience) + uncapped bonuses

Debt Collector Qualifications:

Proven self-starter with a strong work ethic
Previous collections, medical billing, or A/R experience preferred
Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable in a fast-paced, team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Windows, Outlook
Ability to type 25+ words per minute
Previous collections or sales experience a plus
Knowledge of civil litigation steps is a plus
