Job Description
Personnel Resources has a direct hire opening for a Legal Assistant in Dothan, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents, doing legal research, managing the attorney calendars, handling requests from clients and partners and various other administrative tasks.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in the legal field preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a professional administrative role
- Highly professional and organized
- Able to maintain client confidentiality
- Self-motivated and driven
- Proficient user in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise
- Strong data entry to include transcribing dictation
- Proofreading documents for errors and inconsistencies
- Answer and make phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
