Personnel Resources has an immediate openings for a Project Manager and an Estimator for a metal manufacturer in Dothan, AL. In these roles, you will be responsible for developing developing new prospects, interacting with customers, and compiling data to estimate project costs.

This position has pay ranging between $50,000 - $80,000 per year and will be working a Monday-Friday daytime schedule.

Job Description:

• Oversees and coordinates the flow/progress of in-process fabrication and erection projects
• Will be communicating directly with contractors/designers in regards to project specs, costs, and scheduling
• Prepares status reports and works to ensure plans will adhere to the contract specifications
• Needs to be able to help determine necessary resources for projects based on cost estimates and budget constraints
• Will be compiling data to forecast project costs by considering raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, labor, and transportation costs
• Will be working from emails, takeoffs, drawings, bid forms, verbal and written requests to prepare quotes
• Prepare and revise takeoffs and quotations based on client requirements from structural drawings or provided specifications
• Interacts with sales reps and corresponds with them to obtain missing information and recommend changes to improve cost, delivery, or product
• Assists with providing details for drafting, production, and layout of orders once received

Education Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management
• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience is preferred
• Prior experience with sales/cost-estimate/project management in the structural steel or construction industries
