This may be just the job for you! Personnel Resources has partnered with an area nonprofit to help find their next Special Projects Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for executing community-focused initiatives, including public relations, media outreach, special events, and volunteer engagement. This role develops communications across multiple platforms, builds relationships with local media and community partners, and assists leadership with grant writing and project coordination. The Special Projects Coordinator ensures projects are completed professionally, creatively, and in alignment with organizational goals. This position is Monday - Thursday 7:30-4 and Friday 7:30-12.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communication or related field required
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in public relations or event planning preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Canva, Word and Outlook
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to drive for business travel
  • Experience creating content for social media
  • Experience using Canva or Publisher to create designs to be used in print media.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to handle public speaking opportunities.
  • Prior Grant Writing experience preferred.
