Job Title: Director of Senior Adult Ministry
Full-Time
Salary: $47,500
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Senior Adult Ministry for an immediate direct-hire position with a faith-based organization in the Dothan area. This role focuses on fostering spiritual growth, meaningful relationships, and overall wellness through fellowship, discipleship, service, and care. The Director will plan monthly gatherings, organize outings, and create opportunities for older adults to grow in faith, friendship, and community.

The Director will plan monthly gatherings, organize outings, and create opportunities for older adults to grow in faith, friendship, and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead programs and events that nurture spiritual growth and community for adults 55+.
- Plan and coordinate monthly gatherings, local outings, and occasional domestic or international trips.
- Build caring relationships and support participants’ spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Create opportunities for Bible study, devotionals, and active participation in worship and church life.
- Collaborate with staff to align activities with the overall mission and manage program budgets.
Qualifications:
- Committed follower of Christ with a passion for senior adult ministry.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in ministry, program coordination, or hospitality preferred.
- Ability to plan and execute events of varying size and complexity.
