Job Description
Personnel Resources has an immediate openings for a HVAC Service Tech in the Covington County area. The ideal candidate will possess two or more years of experience installing, starting up, and troubleshooting residential and commercial HVAC equipment with exceptional customer service skills.
This position offers pay starting at $16.00 per hour based on your experience and works a Monday-Friday daytime schedule. Nights and weekends may be required on an on-call basis.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and residential HVAC equipment (split systems – both water and air cooled, chillers, water source equipment, electric heaters, etc…)
Maintain professional appearance. Facial hair, visible tattoos and piercings are not allowed.
Properly document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements
This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead. Position will involve frequent use of a ladder, working in small spaces, working outdoors, and requires lifting and moving up to 200lbs with assistance.
EPA I and II Certified at minimum - Universal Certification is a plus
Ability to pass NATE Certification
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
High school diploma/GED - Associates Degree or Trade School Certification is preferred
