LPN/CMA

Job Description
Personnel Resources has an immediate opening for a local physician's office looking to add a CMA or LPN to their team. CMA's applying for this role should have a certification and a minimum of 3-5 years experience. The ideal LPN candidate will have previous experience assisting a physician within a practice setting or 2-3 years hospital floor nursing experience. The pay rate for this position will range from $14-18 depending on the type of certification or license and will be based on experience. This position will work 32-36 hours/week. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-12pm.
Job Duties:
- Rooming patients, taking vitals, updating demographics
- Patient Education
- Assisting the physician with in-office treatment including minor testing and procedures
- Taking calls from patients and forwarding questions to the doctor when necessary
- Cleaning exam rooms between patients
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Active Alabama Practical Nursing License or Active Certified Medical Assistant Certification
- 3-5 years experience within a hospital or physician's office
- Caring demeanor when treating patients
