Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and optimize the technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration, security, and operational efficiency across for the practice in Dothan, AL. The IT Manager will manage software and hardware platforms, vendor relationships, and IT processes, collaborating with department heads to improve workflows and patient care.Benefits: comprehensive health coverage, PTO, life insurance & moreIT Manager Responsibilities:Oversee integration of software across departments to improve efficiency.Manage and support platforms such as RealTime, NextGen, OM, Innovation, Sage, and InstaMed.Supervise IT Assistant, providing guidance and performance oversight.Manage IT contracts, vendor relationships, and service agreements.Ensure system security, including HIPAA compliance and cybersecurity measures.Implement, configure, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and end-user devices.Research and recommend new technologies to enhance operations.Lead IT training programs to ensure proper system adoption.Maintain database integrity and implement backup/recovery solutions.Develop and maintain IT documentation, security policies, and project timelines.IT Manager Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of IT management experience, preferably in healthcare.Experience with EHR systems (NextGen, OM) and financial platforms (Sage, InstaMed).Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network security.Project management skills with a track record of successful technology implementation.Ability to train non-technical staff on IT systems.Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or PMP are a plus.Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security is highly preferred.Pay: $100,000-140,000K/AnnuallySchedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
