Job Description
Personnel Resources has an immediate direct hire opening for an IT Support Specialist in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Support includes setup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software including Windows PC, mobile devices, and a wide range of printers and scanners.
Pay will range between $40,000 - $50,000 per year based on your experience!
Duties:
Provide technical support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to network connectivity.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Ability to verbally walkthrough set up of and/or troubleshoot Windows, Android, and iOS devices with usersPricing, ordering, and configuring new equipment
Requirements:
3+ years proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
Proficient in LAN/WAN networks, VPNs, Windows OS, IPv4 networking, computer hardware, and software applications.
Knowledge of help desk software and remote control.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
