Welder
Job Description
Personnel Resources is currently seeking a Welder for a manufacturer in the Wiregrass area. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various welding techniques and equipment. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Pay will be $17.00 per hour and will be working Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm schedule.
Duties:
- Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment including but not limited to welders, torches, and plasma cutters.
- Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials and equipment as needed.
- Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and cutting.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment used in the welding process.
- Ability to solder and perform basic machining tasks.
