Job Description
Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening for a Painter in Dothan, AL.
This position offers pay starting at $14.00 per hour and goes up based on experience. They will be working at Monday-Friday 6am-5:30pm schedule with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
Job Description:
- Apply paint or other finishes to steel parts using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Prepare all material surfaces to be painted ensuring a smooth work area
- Chip and grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter using both hand tools and power tools
- Operate overhead cranes, loaders, and other equipment to transport the materials to and from the paint bay
Requirements:
- 1-2 years painting experience in an industrial setting is preferred
- Must be able to lift and move 70lbs
- Able to wear a respirator for extended periods of time
