Job Description
We are immediately hiring for an Inventory Specialist in Dothan, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels within a warehouse setting. Your role will involve maintaining accurate records of stock levels, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Pay will start at $16.00 per hour with a Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm schedule.
Responsibilities
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and movements
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Go over and approve inventory invoices
- Answer phones, assist customers, and enter orders
- Research and correct any billing errors
- Assist with vendor price changes
Requirements
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of logistics, sourcing, and supply chain management principles
- Ability to conduct detailed inventory audits and maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
