Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join a busy and growing team in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will have expertise in residential and light commercial new construction plumbing. They work a Monday - Friday schedule usually around 40-45 hours a week with no weekends! Pay will start at $90,000 per year and can go up if you are a licensed Master Plumber. They are willing to help you attain your certification in Alabama if relocating from out of state!
Duties:
- Install plumbing and sewer systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan plumbing installations
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper placement of plumbing fixtures
- Utilize power tools to cut, bend, and assemble pipes
- Weld and solder pipes as needed
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future issues
Skills:
- Proficiency in using power tools for plumbing tasks
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Ability to run heavy machinery such as excavators and backhoes
- Knowledge of carpentry skills for construction site work
- Welding skills to join pipes effectively
- Must have either a Journeyman or Master Plumber license
