Job Description
Are you looking to further your career in insurance? We are seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to join a local office here in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to clients on insurance coverage options to protect their assets and manage risks effectively.
This position offers a competitive salary starting at $17.50 per hour, commission opportunities, training, and growth potential for individuals looking to build a successful career in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Market and sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients
- Explain insurance policies and recommend coverage options based on clients' needs
- Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, and clients to facilitate the claims process
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and handling policy changes
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in Property, Casualty, Life & Health Insurance
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- Experience in benefits administration or related field is advantageous
- Previous experience in retail sales, telemarketing, or customer service roles is beneficial
