Job Description

Personnel Resources has an immediate opening for Line Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing multicultural dishes. This will be a Try-Hire role in Dothan, AL.
Line Cook Job Description:
  • Preparing various types of dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
  • Works with equipment typical of a restaurant kitchen, including, but not limited to a grill
  • Prepares various types of meats and vegetables in order to guarantee a smooth running shift
Line Cook Job Requirements and Skills Set:
  • Must be a team player and help the team where needed
  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work efficiently to turn out meals rapidly
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 50 pounds, and repetitive motions
Work Schedule:
Workdays: The restaurant is open from Monday- Sunday
Work Hours: The restaurant is open from 11a-9p but must be available to work before and after these hours to prepare for the opening and closing of restaurant
Must be able to work 40 hour weeks. Hours will vary and may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Pay Rate:
$10-$12 Based on Experience
