Job Description
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the timely and efficient delivery of lumber products to customers in the lower Alabama and Florida panhandle area. The ideal candidate will manage scheduling, optimize delivery routes, and ensure smooth communication between drivers, customers, and the operations team in a fast-paced environment.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate timely delivery and pickup of lumber products, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to schedules.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and customers, providing delivery updates and resolving issues.
- Communicate with drivers regarding route adjustments and on-the-road challenges.
- Track orders, complete necessary documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Address and resolve any delivery delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure safety compliance and adherence to transportation regulations.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain inventory levels and fulfill orders.
- Provide excellent customer service to incoming customers.
Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in logistics or dispatching (lumber industry experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
