Job Description
Join a team as a Machine Designer in Donalsonville, GA!
We're looking for a skilled individual to create 3D models for diverse product lines using Autodesk Inventor. As part of the team, you'll design new equipment and ensure accurate technical drawings and BOMs. Coordination with the programming department and data entry into Epicor will be crucial for success.
Responsibilities:
Generate precise 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
Design new equipment based on specifications.
Develop technical and fabrication drawings.
Maintain detailed BOMs for all designed machines.
Coordinate with programming to facilitate smooth production.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for parts and assemblies.
Experience in Autodesk Inventor's sheet metal environment and frame generator.
Knowledge and application of best modelling practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as ACA, ACP, ACE, CSWA, CSWP, CSWPA-SM, CSWPA-DT, CSWPA-WD.
Experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing.
Familiarity with Autodesk Vault.
