Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in Dothan, AL.

This position offers pay starting at $14.00 per hour and goes up from there based on experience. They will be working a Monday-Friday 6am-5:30pm schedule with occasional overtime on Saturday schedule. They also have a night shift Sunday-Wednesday 8pm-6am.

Job Description & Requirements:

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Familiar with: Angle/Bar Line, Burn Table, Press Brake, Class C: Saw, Tag Machine, Laser operator.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
