Job Description
Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in Dothan, AL.
This position offers pay starting between $14.00 - $17.00 per hour and goes up from there based on experience. They will be working a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule!
Job Description & Requirements:
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
Ability to read blueprints
Familiar with: Angle/Bar Line, Burn Table, Press Brake, Class C: Saw, Tag Machine, Laser operator.
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
