- Review and process insurance claims for accuracy
- Ensure timely submission of claims and follow up on unpaid claims
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies with insurance providers
- Maintain accurate records of patient billing and payments
Medical Billing Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical billing or a related field
- Knowledge of medical coding, CPT, ICD-10, and insurance guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Familiarity with billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
