Job Description
We are immediately hiring for an Insurance Data Entry Specialist in Dothan, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative and clerical skills.
Pay will range between $12.00 - $13.00 per hour and will work a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm schedule. They offer health insurance, PTO, and a 401k!

Insurance Data Entry Specialist Duties:
- Transcribe data from various sources into electronic format
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into computer systems
- Verify accuracy of entered data and make necessary corrections
- Maintain and update files and databases as needed
- Generate reports, charts, and pivot tables using Excel or other software
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Insurance Data Entry Specialist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in data entry or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and retrieval
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for creating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and charts
- Prior medical office experience is a plus
