Job Description
Are you looking to further your career in the medical administrative field? We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join a healthcare clinic in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Pay will range between $14.00 - $15.00 per hour and will work a Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 12pm schedule. Full benefits package is available!
Duties:
- Organize and manage medical records in both electronic and paper filing systems
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information
- Retrieve patient records for healthcare providers and other authorized personnel
- Input data into electronic health record systems
- Process release of information requests in accordance with privacy regulations
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical records systems and computer software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with medical office operations and HIPAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
